I had the pleasure of meeting Bob Ready in 2001; a very kind person who went out of his way to answer my questions and explain his memorial project and his motivation. In the intervening years, he ahs revealed himself to be a very patient man as well.
I am extremely pleased that he may be seeing the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel" at Blue Ash Airport and may be able to build his memorial sometime soon.

That is great news! I'm very happy to hear the project can start to move forward (or plan for the day to move forward)

Great to hear the project is moving forward!
I was in Cincy for an IPMS show a couple of years ago, and a freind arranged to get my girlfreind and I a look at MGS. Mr. Ready spent over an hour personally showing us around and telling us about the plane, its history, and the restoration. A heck of a nice guy.
Some purists may be upset that the plane is being restored to strictly static condition, and will be displayed gear-up as she looked after bellying in on the ice cap, but I think they're doing a great job. The wreck could still be rotting away in Greenland.

I think it is a beautiful job.
