This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Just thought I would throw this out there. Maybe I can help someone.
I will be hauling a PT-23 project out to Pennsylvania the end of October, and would be happy to help someone who might be needing something moved back from that area to the midwest (Illinois/Wisconsin area). Engines, wings, whatever.....
PM me if you need something moved in that direction....I'll see if I can help you out.

......(Bump)......
Any takers?
We are loading up the PT-23 this weekend. If you know of someone that needs something moved back to the midwest from out east, we would be happy to help....

I just got my C-123 tires moved, but I was almost going to e-mail you. Thanks for the offer though. That is very nice of you.

No problem my friend. I am happy to help where I can.
If you know of anyone else who might need some logistical help, send 'em my way.

Just to let everyone know that Steve didn't get completely stood up, as he'll be hauling a piece of TBY from PA back to cheeseland for me.
Other WIXers have had similar experiences with Steve Dennis, but I simply must add that there are few people on this planet I would trust more with getting the job done in a careful and professional manner. Thanks, Steve.

Thanks for the kind words Dan.
Just so everyone knows, even though Dan's TBY is a massive beast, and the part I'm bringing back for him is good sized, there is still LOT's of room on the trailer for other stuff.....

piece of TBY from PA back to
HUH?!!!!
Please I need more details!

I didn't know any TBY survived! Let alone in Pennsylvania. Although it makes sense since they were built in Pa.
Cheers,

Just take a deep breath there, Nate.
You're correct: No TBY survivors. This is just my humble attempt at collecting as many original bits of the old bird as possible to be included in a static reconstruction. I've located about 4 feet of original canopy in PA which Steve is graciously transporting for me.

original canopy
Thanks Dan.
Wow four feet huh? The TBY does have one HECK of a long canopy doesn't it?

Now all you need is about another 15 feet worth of canopy and your set!
Let me know Dan how you make out. I'm very interested!
Tally ho,
Nathan
P.S. And all this time I thought you were just a poster.
