It is Sunday evening about 6 pm and my son David and I are back in Boulder after a long flight from Midland. David goes to school in Bozeman, Mt. and must catch the airline back Mon., so it was good we got home now. The weather for the CAF show was nice temps, not the bad heat it can be. Sunday was even cool, but there was a lot of wind. I did not fly in the show Sat , wind was up to 25 knots at takeoff time, which makes taxiing hard. So I took a break to enjoy it as a spectator. David enjoyed looking around at the ground planes, got a nice look inside old 927. He saw the gun with the WIX donation plack on it! We never had any real turbulence either way, but had to add extra stops boths legs due to headwinds. The Spitfire deserves a good bath in the next few days.
