New Progress Shots of the MAAM P-61

Thu Sep 20, 2007 9:50 pm

The WWII Night Fighters held their 2007 reunion at MAAM on September 18-19, so while I was there to cover it for the museum web pages I took some shots of the latest work in progress on our P-61. Check them out at http://www.maam.org/p61/p61_rest.htm

I'll be putting together a page on the re-union shortly, as well. It was a great honor meeting and hearing the stories of these surviving heroes who flew and maintained Black Widows and Beaufighters in the night skies of Europe and the Pacific.
