Is anyone here going to the races?
Any insight as to what aircraft are supposed to attend for the races, airshow, and trophy competition?

More importantly when are you guys going to hotrod up one of the 6s and head west.

I'm planning on heading West tomorrow. Staying in Prescott, AZ for the night, then going on to Stead on Friday. If any WIXers make their way to the Formula One hangar, come on over to Race 64, Maybee's Baby and say howdy.

I have seen the crew working on the P-51D Miss America in OKC getting her ready for the races. They were changing engines to the "Race Engine and prop" from her normal setup.

As it stands now, I'll be there on the 14th. Mainly down by "The Proud American" at the Heritage Flight end.

Hey guys I'll be there on the evening of the 10th. I'll be at my buddies hangar down at the end of the ramp past the pits next to the formula one hangar, it's on the second row of the yellowish brown t-hangars. He should have his T-6 sitting there, so stop by and have a cold frosty beverage.
