That looks like a beautiful restoration! I'll have to visit Point Cook next time I'm down there.

By the way, Ausflyboy, how is Brissy? My girlfriend and I are interested in moving to Australia and something about Brisbane got us interested. How is the aviation scene down there? I'm a pilot and wonder how easy it would be to get flying down there. I have my Aussie citizenship which helps of course.

I'm curious about the third image, of the Spitfire with one wing; did it groundloop or something? How could one wing be pushed almost 90 degrees back and have the top of the fuselage almost shaved off yet the prop blades look virtually untouched? Perhaps a collision during take-off/landing?

Hope the pilot was OK....

edit: maybe the prop is ok because it wasn't moving....so I guess it could have been stationary when hit by something...
