Beaufort Restoration Group-Disposals

Wed Aug 08, 2007 2:25 am

Hi Guys and Gals, Its funny the things you find when moving hangers :)

We've come across a LIM-5 (Mig-17) Starboard Wing. It appears to be practically new and complete. The wing is covered in thick grease inside and out, and is fitted with an undercarriage leg but no wheel or hub also there is no books or logs with it.

We are looking at selling it off and will be taking offers on it to raise much needed funds for the Beaufort restoration :D

Anyway, the point in this post is

A) How much would this be worth
B)Anyone interested?

I'll post some pics of the wing later tonight for youse to have a squiz at

Cheers

Well that is pretty darn cool! I'd love to see pics.

All I find when I am cleaning my garage is dust and missing nuts & bolts... :?

OOH also forgot to mention we have a Corsair wing ammo box that we pulled out of the spare stuff. Open to offers or trade.
