I think Sergant Schubert and anyone who flew these things had great big brass cajones.

Yeah...especially when you consider the fact that their own plane was usually more dangerous than the enemy fighters. I believe only about 15% of the ME-163 pilot deaths were from being shot down. The rest were killed in training accidents!

the c-stoff & t-stoff fuel would literally ignite when mixed. burns regarding fuel handlers were high. the fuel was fairly stable when separated.
