Another side to Geneseo

Ok, let me preface this by saying I'm more than embarassed that I completely forgot to meet up with everyone. I was there with my wife and father enjoying the show when I realized at about 1:00 or so that I missed the designated meet time.

Anyways, since everyone has covered the warbirds quite well with their pictures I thought I'd show some of the other planes and things going on at the show.

First up are the vintage/classic aircraft, some really rare ones showed up this year!

and there were also some reenactors which always make for great shots.

and last, how could anyone resist a shot of this:

For those who aren't familiar with the CWH B-25, it's named Grumpy.

I missed the meet as well, but was busy elsewhere at the time. Bummer. Like like those big group hugs (platonic of course).

Mike :-)

I'm thinking Thruxton Jackaroo in photo of black and silver biplane(close up of canopy)?? Some sort of Moth, right?
I could iD everything else.

picture of dwarf w/pilot reminded me of a joke I recently heard:

Seems a man inavertantly rear ended the vehicle in front of him, demolishing entire trunk area of a very expensive luxery car. When he got out to survey the damage, he was joined by the other driver.

Our man couldn't help noticing the fellow was EXTEMELY short. After taking in the wreckage the little man said "I am not happy!".

"I was thinking Grumpy, perhaps?" came our man's reply.

with the grass strip, classic, antique, and warbirds....I think you've convinced me to put this on the must attend list next year. Looks like a great show.
