Bill Greenwood, are you OK (Spit OK that is)?

Sun Jul 15, 2007 8:28 pm

During the last Spitfire flights on Sunday at Genesso, Bill Greenwood did a go around with his gear down. On the radio he said something like the mechanical indicators said the gear was down, but no cockpit lights.

He went around again, and landed. I hope it wasn't anything major wrong ($$$$$$$$) and it was just a "light" problem.

Have a safe trip back to CO (or towards Oshkosh)

Guys, I and the plane are fine, except I just got back to Wix tonight and read the terrible news of the fatal accident at Camarillo, so I don't feel much like writing. Mon is defintely the worst day of the week on WIX, all too often. My gear was down as normal, just no green light in cockpit, perhaps fuse?
