But someone had to do it.
As part of the Biplane Rally we took six aircraft down to the National Warplane Museum (aka Wings of Eagles) for a tour of the facility and lunch.
I had the pleasure of flying down with Rich Wallen in his L-16. We are seen on short final into Elmira.
NWM from the air
On the way home I had the pleasure of shooting Dave hadfield and the Vintage Wings of Canada Fox Moth.
as well as Rob Holland
and Rich in his Aeronca
The A2A work was from a Stearman and once done we played in the clouds

Dang Eric, had I known you were going to be at Elmira I woulda drove up to meet you. Elmira is only about a 50 minute drive from my house. Beautiful pictures very lovely. I am so glad to see that Blue nosed P-51 on the field. Not too often does Geneseo see a Blue noser. lol!

Well, we just got back from the field and we closed it down for the night. It was a fantastic day and at least two dozen wixers on site. Bill made it in with the Spitfire to make three Spits on the field with one Hurricane. It looks good for another magical weekend at Geneseo.
