Hey Jack, on that VF-44 F4U-5, can you make out the Bureau Number on the tail?

Hello Jack,

Nice pics.
The AU-1 '411' is the last Corsair build or is a DAsh 7 or the French Navy?

I built it when I twas a young tyke....... I had my models hanging from my bedroom ceiling (upstairs in a bungalow) and as I grew up, I would hit the models with my head as I jumped out of bed to watch the round engine planes go by (1 mile out, 1 mile South of the centerline of 23 Left of CLE, totally unobstructed view with a radio tuned to the tower......) and they would sometimes come crashing down....Unfortunately, this model was one of the casulities of "rough air".........

May all your bent wings be F2G Corsairs (or XF2G)
