I was planning to do a brief test flight first thing in the morning, then put the drop tank on and depart for Geneseo. Weather here kept me from doing the test flight today, but the weather looks good for the morn, Wed. Just one little problem, I checked the notam tonight and the runway at Loveland is closed all day WED. from 6am to 9pm, don't know why. Remember the old LIFE OF RILEY tv show where William Bendix would say "What a revolting development this is!"

With that amount of time it almost sounds like an equipment or airfield maintenance or repair issue.....a really big one.

Bill,
Please keep us posted, hope to see you and the Spit there! We're down one Spit already. MJ730 pulled out due to a MX issue.
If you're delayed a day it might not be a bad thing. Now looks like T-storms on Friday but the weekend looks good. (Hope arrivals aren't impacted too much!)

Pete, I hope to depart Thur am, planning a stop near Omaha, then Valpariso, may try to leave the tank and overnight there, or one more leg to Akron. 3 legs is really more flying than I like to do in one day unless the weather, etc is great. if I get near Akron it is a short flight to Geneseo Fri. More likely it will work out that I will be sitting somewhere waiting out the closure for the jet.
