I'm curious about the comment "sole surviving aircraft from the Pearl Harbor attack"; doesn't the TFC P-40B count? Isn't there a Duck flying that was also there? Which aircraft are they referring to?

Good to see the wings for the 219 coming along, if that is indeed what they were; that will be amazing to see in one piece again.

They have a flying boat that was at Pearl Harbor during the attcak. I agree that it is not the sole surviving one though. I thought it was a nice piece.

It's the "news".
They latch onto anything and misquote it, not on purpose, but because they don't know better. They may have been told that this was the only aircraft that was at Pearl Harbor the "the Museum owns"! Translated into news reporters terms it becomes, "the only one in existence" from the attack.
I hate the news, but they are sometimes useful for P/R purposes.
