I was very fortunate (and thankful) to get up with some of the pilots of the CAF for a 4 ship, 4 pass formation over Moorpark CA. The flight time afforded me the opportunity to shoot these Texans in the air at an almost dusk lighting. I shot them yesterday afternoon and have them now posted to my website at:

Here are a couple of teasers:

Thanks guys. We took off at about 7:00, so we got that just before dusk lighting, which I love.

I concur, nice photos! Me like's! What about the guy in the yellow winged SNJ, 22p, where are his photo's?

Cheers guys. What do you mean, Steve? If you mean picks of that plane, I have them on the page. If you are talking about his rider, he was just going along for the ride. It was his birthday.

Yes I did follow the link(thats one sharp SNJ!) and I thought it looked like he was also taking photos when they were in the the number two position My Bad
Still great shot's though!

Thanks, I kind of wish there was another photog on that flight. It's always nice to have a picture of yourself up there. I had to settle with the extended arm self portrait.

The other 2 aircraft with passengers were just along for the ride. Can't blame them for that.

Nice images man, as always.
Your site is very nice ... and across the board your photos seem to me to be more 'artistic' than most I've seen. The only rule you don't follow (nor should you

) is that with aviation paintings, the worse the flying WX, the prettier the painting!
Keep 'em coming!
