1988 Mustang photo

I think somebody here can help me with a Mustang question.... I have a group of photos from April 1988, a CAF airshow at Easterwood Airport in College Station, Tx.
It was a while before the light bulb came on to GET THE ***** N #! in aviation photos. I have one photo taken from about five o'clock angle of a nice natural finish D model but the only markings I have photographed is a huge TF-660 marking at mid fuselage.
By now I've managed to i.d. every other a/c in those photos but this one eludes me.
Help me out gang. If no one here knows the answer, someone will know where to find it.

At one time it was owned by the Lone Star Flight Museum.

Brought in by John Hess that show I beleive. I was on the black gang at that one.

I'm a relative newcomer to Lone Star. I didn't know we'd even had a Mustang.
Obergrafeter: I may quiz you on a few others from that show.
Matter of fact, do you know anything about the IDFAF Do27 that was there? I think its numbe might be N770AX.

N4151D in 1979 was owned by Gordon Plaskett at King City, CA. where he gave dual in the Mustang after proving yourself in his SNJ-4. I flew the TF in December of 79 for 2 hours and 15 minutes and had 4 take off and landings in the plane before a bad mag drop spoiled the fun.

I do remember seeing a DO-27 and being impressed at how big it seemed, but other than that not a whole lot about it. If I remember right it was for sale for a ridiculous low amount of money at that time, maybe 20K are something. Should have bought it.

Gosshawk aviation pulled maintenance on N4151D when they were based at Falcon Field. One of the Gosshawk guys told me that the Mustang, despite what the registration says, actually belongs to an Englishman who ocassionally travels to the States to fly his airplane. I don't remember the owners name but it was discussed either here or on the Flypast Forum in the not too distant past.

The airplane is (or was) legally owned by and registered to Hane. The guy in the UK is either named Rob Horne or Dick Horne (I'm unsure of the name -- I've seen both used). He leased it, apparently, all through the 90s.

The last I heard (from a very reputable source) is that it was headed to the UK for a complete restoration by The Fighter Collection.

Interesting airplane with an interesting history as an ad-hoc TF-51.
