Here are some photos of the Heritage planes that flew in yesterdays WPAFB Tattoo. These pictures are from the ramp prior to the show.

I'm missing the Berlin Airlift C-54 aircraft as it was parked at the other end of the ramp from us. If anyone has a picture of them at the Tattoo would you add it to this post. Those guys are a great group and I'd like to see a picture of them added to this post.
Thanks
David

I'm surprised you didn't mention that privately-owned T-2 that came in during the afternoon

I was thinking about putting vinyl USAF markings on the T2 for the day. :D

Sabremech,

While a volunteer at the Museum, I missed the tattoo as I was in Louisville for an embroidery seminar picking up tips.

Thanks for the pic of the Sabre ... brings back my memories of 50+ years ago at a place called "Turkey Trot" ...

I had been wondering how a privately-owned T-2 just happened to fly in on the same day as the others. I didn't realize until a few minutes ago that it and the Sabre belong to the same museum. D'uh

David! I just got in from Goshen! Hey, nice to chat with you at FFO....

Did your camera run out of film before you got to our side of the hangar?

Seriously, a pleasure to finally meet in person! I hope I see you at OSH!

Kevin,
I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't walk down the other side of the ramp. We spent too much time to get the rental car and passes that we didn't wander much. Also had the one maint issue to deal with. We made it home Saturday around noon.
Pleasure to meet you and the crew. I too look forward to Oshkosh and meeting more WIX members.
Take Care
David
