From the Vault: P-51's at the Quonset RI Airshow 1986

Sun Jun 24, 2007 12:11 am

In going through some of my old videos I came across the following footage and put together a short clip. This was taken in August of 1986.

You may recognize some old friends here. The P-51's are flown by George Enhorning, Bob Ferguson and Jack Shaver.

(Note the announcer mentioning that one of the 51's is for sale, with the asking price of 350K!)

Cheers,
Pete

At that time $390,000 the announcer said was SKY HIGH. About $200,000 would have been high. (I was looking back in those days)
