Early Morning Hawk

Sun Jun 17, 2007 7:09 pm

This was taken by my Dad at Geneseo in 1985.

The dramatic lighting was supplied by an early morning sun, and the subject by Doc Anderson and his Kittyhawk I, AK940.

This is one of my Dad's grooviest photos and my favorite of all his aircraft shots, and it serves as my tribute to him for this Father's Day... I wish he were still here...

A great capture here, if you look at the clouds just above and to the right of the P-40 you can see a hawk's beak and eyes.... Well done

He is right there in those clouds, smiling down on you!

Bless you.
