Ok, fellas.... Someone at RDG, a Groundcrew person, possibly took a photograph of Gail Halvorsen leaning out the window of our C-54 handing a parachute to a blonde woman in OD.
It is very important that I find this photo, as the woman is a good friend and a Berlin Child who never got a candy bar from Gail or his compatriots 60 years ago...
It was a moment she'll never forget, and Both she and Col. Halvorsen would like a copy of that photo.
It was taken on Sunday after we dropped off MacArthur and Lt. j.g. Kennedy.
Anyone have something like that?

Kevin, I know a member of our tug crew (a "bumblebee") was carrying his camera Sunday and was down on standby for you guys during the speech. He's on WIX occasionally, but I'll ask when I see him on Saturday anyway. I'll also ask our "Media Co-ordinator" if one of our stationed photographers got it. It might be a few days though.

Taking this picture was the highlight of our World War II Weekend. Many thanks to all the Mid Atlantic Air Museum people---especially Air Boss Witmer for allowing Stan Piet and I to cover the show. An a SPECIAL thank you to Col. Halvorsen and Mrs. Johnson.
I have already send copies to Kevin and Berlin Airlift folks with our best wishes.
