We had another fantastic Dinner Dance and Fly-in at Eagle Field. It is right in the middle of CA so nobody in CA has an excuse for not making it!

What's that wreck (carcass) in the background of the 4th picture down? Is is a C-82?

It is a P2V-3W. It isn't a wreck just a disassembled airframe.

Many great shots in this thread, but I saw the wreck as well and would like to know what it is. I don't have anything in the Locator regarding a B-24 or C-82 at Eagle Field.

One of these days I am going to make this event.
I missed this year because I had already commited to go to the Sacramento airshow.

The PV2 is not a wreck, but a disassembled airplane that used to be on display at Griffith Park in LA.

Neat pics, thanks for sharing.

Is this B-25 still there? I took this back in 2000, one of the last times I was there.
