Interesting movie..1942

I was home for lunch yesterday and caught the end of a movie on Turner Classic Movies...called "Wings for the Eagle" about some aircraft industry workers.
It was a bad movie but...it was filmed in 1942 in Burbank...a lot of the scenes were shot in and around the Lockheed plant...lots of Hudson stuff.

Can't find much about it except on IMDB.

I caught this movie as well, though just after it started. The acting of course was dismal as was the special effects at the end but it did showcase plenty of shots of early model P-38s, possibly P-38Es or Fs, and like you said, Hudsons. It is a very patriotic movie, of course being made not too long after the attack on Pearl Harbor, which the news of the event is included towards the end of the film. The description for the movie mainly just read 'Lockheed plant during WWII'.
