BRUSSELS AIR MUSEUM (PLEASE READ IT)

Tue Jun 05, 2007 3:55 am

Hi,

I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:

"Brussels Air Museum future"
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/BAM2007?e

I really think this is an important cause, and I'd like to encourage you to add your signature, too. It's free and takes less than a minute of your time.

Thanks !

Tough one this i went last year loved the place iits a great old building reminds me of the victorians but it did look like it was in need of repair ie leaks in the roof

i think that you will have to trust them to do the right think the planes need to be looked after and im sure that they will the main concern has to be the building for me id hate to see it modenized so much that it loses its charm!

I signed the petition... it is a disgrace what is happening. This is one of the finest aircraft collections in the world. I have also read that they intend on getting rid of much of the collection which does not have direct pertinence to the Belgian Air Force. If this is true, it would be very sad as well. I never understand the logic in these massive changes that some museum directors seem to insist upon. The museum is much more than just an aviation museum (with many other subjects covered), and I have had my suspicions that the leadership is less interested in aviation, and might want the space for something else... just my thoughts of course, but it is concerning.

All the best,
Richard
