I just saw the end of a news report saying a Marine jet crashed. The video shows the F-18 off the end of the runway in marshes with it's nose in a river. The pilot ejected safely. Anybody have any further info?

The F-18 crashed at Quantico Marine Base. It appears the pilot came in and overshot the runway. When he ran out of runway, he punched out and the hapless F-18 continued on into the marsh.

Heard from a buddy in Kuwait, that a couple of weeks back, there was a mid-air of two KAF F-18s.
He says that the pilots leave a lot to be desired, and these accidents do not surprise him.
Anyone knows more about it?
