Does anyone know how close it is to going on a test flight? The last time I saw a pic of it, it was pretty close.

I havent heard anything about the P-59 since Air & Space did an article a few years ago.
Hmmm Heritage flight w/ a new build 262, a Meteor and the P-59?

Dunno man. In the last pictures of it I saw, they still had the prop and nose under wraps. Probably a lot of work left to do still.
I bet they're having a hard time even getting a decent, restorable prop for that bird. I bought one off of eBay a few weeks ago and it still isn't here yet!!

I was looking at the Glacier Girl on Tuesday, but the P-59 was in the back covered up. It looked like they were coming along on their Bearcat more than the P-59..

we were hoping to have it ready for the airshow, but that didn't pan out. so....as we always say.....it'll fly in October! and, that might even be this year! She's getting close.

They told me that they are expecting to fly by the end of the year.
