Jack Checking In Part Deux

Mon Apr 23, 2007 10:01 pm

Hi all,
Just a quick check in.
We rented a house in SE Salem about 5 miles from our smoking
crater :? It's a nice place with a good fenced yard for the dog but
a tad empty at the present. It's been a long & depressing week sorting through rubble of what's left
and I think we'll be happy when were finished and don't have to go look at it every day.
I found some things in the back end of the house so it's not a total loss. You do get a bit down when most
of your stuff is either in a drop box in your driveway or piled rumble in the back yard. But, things are getting
better and all of you here on the forum are helping in that.
I feel very fortunate to have such a good bunch of friends and that means ALL of you. The big decision now is
whether of rebuild or call in Randy and his F-15E to finish of what left  We'll make that decision in a couple
weeks.
My wife and I what to talk ALL of you again for your support! It's really made a big difference. You guys are the best!!
Until next time..............
Jack signing off.

Jack, do you need stuff? Well, heck, I can ship you allllll kinds of "stuff" out of my hangar. It would make your new place have that airplane feel.

Take care and hang in there. It'll get better I'm sure. If you need anything, you know where to find us. :D

Jack,

Glad to here that things seem to be progressing fairly well for you and the family. I know it must be rough getting the sorting done.

I stopped by your old place the day after the fire to see if I could help you out with anything. Nobody was around the two times I came by and the neighbor I talked to was not sure where you were staying at that time. If there is anything I can help out with, my email--- tbohnst@yahoo.com

I live out South of town too------near the corner of Kuebler and Sunnyside Rd. Shoot me an email if you get me a chance sometime.

Your former fellow Chemeketa buddy, Ted B.
