Tiger Cat 80374

Fri Feb 23, 2007 5:11 pm

OK - seeking Tigercat 80374 - Does anyone know if this Grumman is in Arizona? Flying? I see from the registry that it was at Reno in 2002 - just wondering if it is still out here in the West.

Thanks,

Tom P.

Tom,

According to the FAA, at the below link (hope it works), it's in Arizona:

http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... rtxt=7629C

They don't note if it's flying or not, tho...

Is this the one that's being rebuilt at Ione?

The 'Cat at Sanders in Ione isn't being worked on currently. I don't know much about it, but it is an ex- Sis-Q airplane.

Isn't that the one that Mike Bogue used to own? Bu80532 N7195C.

Speaking of the Bogue Tigercat, came across this on a modeling site. Picture by G. Samuel Parfitt.

Is that the P-63 Trust Me in the background?

Nope, that would be the ex- Tipsy Miss/What Price Speed/Cobra P-63 which was the first TFC Kingcobra. Judging from the artwork I would say that pic was taken when it was owned by Bob Reiser and flown as "Cobra".
