Ok I got a question or two. How did the mustangs prop get bent, and what became of the Mossie?

The Mossie is Kermit Weeks' and is on display in the Eagle Hanger at Oshkosh.

Oh Yeah, 1988, that's what happens when you taxi too close the person in front of you. This was the best year @ Breckenridge for me....

Do you have any more from the Topeka airshow? I see the O-47 and at least a couple of others from that show.

Which ones are from Topeka? I must have mixed some in with Breckenridge photos.

That year they had a drawing for a ride in Chuckie and the person that won was on the other end of the ramp and they called his name and made him run across the ramp yelling as they had fun with him saying that they were getting ready to draw another name.

I had the same question, but regarding the O-47. Is this the same airplane now at the Forbes Field museum in Topeka, KS?

The 0-47 is the same one that is at the combat air museum, the other pic's from Topeka are the PV-2 and the PBY.

YOU HAD ME WORRIED THERE FOR A WHILE, ALL THOSE YEARS AT BRECKENRIDGE AND I MISSED THE O-47. GLAD TO FIND OUT I WASN'T THAT DRUNK. THE RED CONTROL TOWER IS HOME NOW AS IT IS THE EAA TOWER FOR THE TEXAS FLY IN FIRST WEEKEND IN JUNE AT HDO. THANKS FOR THE DONATION HOWARD
