Mighty Eighth Museum Calls for Volunteers

If you love military history and would like a chance to work at a state-of-the-art facility, this may be your chance. The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum in Pooler needs your help and they're looking for some new volunteers.

The museum needs volunteers to help lead tours, greet visitors, and work behind the scenes in the library and in setting up exhibits.

"We will be recruiting for the first time in mass new volunteers," said museum volunteer Lee Maltonfort. "We are operating at 60 percent of the volunteers we need and we need more people."

To learn more about becoming a volunteer at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, you can attended the volunteer day at their Pooler location. It's this Saturday at 9am. For more information, call 748.8888, extension 123.
