BT-13 Wooden Prop?

Sun Dec 17, 2006 6:47 pm

Paul,

I am looking for a photo of BT-13 trainers with wooden ERCO propellers on them. I know the military had many wooden propellers used on trainers pre WW2 and during the war. Do you have any photos of these?

Thank you,

James Bailey

Paul;
Have James check out this link if you haven't seen it already and look at the first photo. BT at the Travis Museum with a wooden prop.

Does anybody know of a value for an un-airworthy one of those wooden props (somebody in the past drilled holes in it to mount it)? My brother had one given to him about six months ago and we have been trying to figure out what it went to. Now we know.
