Hi WIXers
Can someone send me a shot or two of Mike Potter's SL721 after the prop strike in Geneseo? I saw some on one of the sites and can't find it again.
Mike called me on Friday talking about the prop and how he would not be able to attend the Brannagan Terminal dedication and "Spitfire Swing" dance here in Windsor on the weekend. He had me express his appologies to the Canadian Historical Aircraft Assoc. and present them a cheque for $10,000. He is a dedicated supporter of aviation history in Canada. We can't thank him enough for his support even after having such a frustrating mishap in Geneseo. I wish that I could tell you some of his future plans but I will say I envy you guys in the Ottawa area.
He still plans to bring the Spit to Windsor, possibly in early Sept. He wants to visit the Harvard Assoc. in Tilsonburg too.
I will try to keep everyone informed of dates etc. so that anyone down in this end of the province or over in the states can come and get a look at SL721.
Cheers
Bob S.

Yup....Those are the ones that I saw before. Pretty sad looking but could have been a lot worse. Geneseo is taking full blame and is paying for the entire repair. Mike and 721 will be back at Geneseo next year.
Thanks a lot.

Thank Col.
I'll get in touch with his mechanic and see if he'll send me some.
I wanted them because at the dedication on Sat. some twit told me that it was probably just an excuse not to come to the event in Windsor. The guy couldn't have been farther from the truth. Mike went the limits to get a prop on 721 to attend our event. I have been in touch with Mike quite often since doing the paint project. He is a great guy and a straight shooter.
Maybe you could ping me a couple of the shots direct Col. The ones off the posting are a bit small. I only need a couple.
Thanks
Bob S.
