It's a rather grainy image and there isn't much recognisable of the airframe, but can anyone ID the type of aircraft from what is left of it in this image?

The cowl and propeller spinner look wrong for a Cessna O-1 - to my eye at least?

Exactly what I thought, too. And CIA was using them.

This Helio has been in my hangar for the last few years. The owner has decided to sell it, so it will be gone one of these days.

It has a two-bladed propeller, versus the three-bladed on the Courier in the photo above.

Saludos,

Tulio

What's the story on that one, Tulio? Is it an ex-military plane or just painted to represent one?

Thanks,

Mac

Don't know, Mac.

I have never asked the owner about it.

Saludos,

Tulio
