I was just asked to spread the word for anyone who'd like to support the "Blake" exhibit, at the CBM in the Sault. They're looking for the goggles used in the 1960s NFB film, "Blake".

The Museum is a charity, so a donation receipt is available.

That's a Canadian training Type B helmet. Lacking the brow piece of a regular Type B.

The goggles are repros and commonly available as motorcycle goggles. They are supposed to look like Mk 8s but originals are brown leather with RAF blue frames. These are all in black so cheap repros.

I have two pairs for when I drive my Bearcat...Brown leather and a choice of chrome/nickel frames or brass...I got the brass to match the car's radiator and lights.

Not hard to find or terribly expensive.

Also used in the hovercraft race in Star Wars episode one.
