I am presently researching the history of the Glenn L Martin Museum's AM-1s and I can use your help with identifying an article that appeared in either Air Classics or Warbirds International (in the last 15 years or so) which chronicled the history of the surviving AM-1s. Much appreciation from anyone in the community who can help me identify the issue which this article appeared. posting.php?mode=smilies&f=3#

It used to be in Tillamook

Saw it last summer at Erickson's in Madras Oregon.

It hasn't been restored.

Tillamook's AM-1 was rescued by the New England Air Museum from the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. It was a complete airframe and NEAM also took a firewall forward section from another Mauler that was Aberdeen and going to be scrapped. That engine section later was sold to Harry Doan and I think it might be with Kermit Weeks but I'm not 100% sure.
