I remember a video I saw some place on the net years ago, it showed a DC3 loosing one of its engines on take off. I wish I could find that.

Bet they wish they could find it too (the engine)!

Are you thinking of the B-26 at the Kankakee Air Festival in 1993? No fatalities and the plane is now in TX for a static rebuild.
