Back in the 70s Mojave was also home to a Meteor NF 11 meteor a Hunter owned by two friends. Letcher was one of the men.
The Hunter went onto "star" in The Right Stuff filling in for the D-558-2 and the meteor was in an episode of TV's Wonder Woman.

What became of those two?

According to our Flypast colleagues Vampire grp is # A-79-617 now poss at NZ. More to come later.

Try 'A79-xxx' for RAAF serials. The 'A-79-xxx' is the wrong format, and will eliminate the right answers in Aus Vampire searches.

For Aus mil, best place to start on the net is http://www.adf-gallery.com.au/
