Nice shots. That P-51's scheme always bugged me. Is it original / accurate in any way?

Great museum! I visited a few years ago was was pleasantly surprised..especially to see a P-47N. I don't think I've ever seen another long-wing Jug in real life. The B-17 has gotten a new coat of paint since I was there in 2010, but the Gulf Coast weather is still taking its toll on the outside aircraft.

As for the Mustang, I'm assuming somebody just threw a set of "quickie" markings on it for effect..I don't think I've ever seen a pic of a P-51 in those markings (insignia decals are much too small..they probably just used what was handy.) Hopefully at some point when time and money permit, it'll get a more historically accurate scheme.
