I don't want to hijack the Fort Rucker thread but those guys at Ft Rucker have a very nice museum and I've posted photos of what was there this past spring over at the CDSG site.....http://tinyurl.com/ptxa776

Last time I was there was as a ROTC cadet dropping off my Blues to have the branch color piping put on them right before I swore in, in 1998. Swung into the museum at that point and was quite impressed. I saw the HIND sitting in a storage area nearby, it'd be neat to see that on display there someday...

Google led to some pretty fascinating stuff. A retractable gondola from which the thing could be flown? My head spins... :shock:
