Ive been told of a report about a BF-109 handmande replica? been built in Melbourne , Australia full scale.

Anyone heard more on this?

They have completely changed the way the wings attach to the fuselage. Wonder why?

I don't have access to my emails from the builders presently, but IIRC the wing attach was changed to make it much easier to remove them if required - grab the nearest passersby and take them off, throw the dismantled aircraft on the trailer and head to the bar :drink3:

The original was designed to be towed on it's main wheels after removing the wings and horizontal stabilizer and hoisting the tail wheel on to the back of an Opel Blitz truck.
