Hope you all over there in Texas are ok, The Weather Channel is painting a pretty bad picture for yall. We are at our usual place for this time of year, 8 floors up in the condo overlooking the Gulf Of Mexico in PCB, & we are getting ready to get our a-s kicked tonight from this storm. Its warm here today, does not seem like Christmas. Anyway yall take care!

Light snow about 30 nm northwest of me now and heading this way. Freezing temps are about the same distance. Going to be interesting tonight when I head to work about 2200....

Update: Just started to snow here at the house about 1230.

Here in Atlanta, Christmas Eve was extremly foggy. Fortunately, Rudolph must have done a good job leading the sleigh overnight, because there were toys by the fireplace when our 2 year old awoke.

We're supposedly in for bad storms this evening, but some of the weather guessers are proclaiming that the worst of it will stay towards the South side of the city.

Here in the D/FW area, we got a wonderful Christmas present this year... RAIN. It's been really dry here for months, and we got a good soaking last night, even some thunder and lightning. Now the rain has turned to a heavy, wet snow. Weather service predicts 1 - 2 inches for our area, but 6 - 8 inches for the folks further north. Low tomorrow morning supposed to be about 20 deg F, so there will probably be some ice on the roads. Not good... my wife has to go to work (a 45 mile drive). :(

I just got in from driving from Mesquite to Decatur. Started to see snow about I-35 and Mockingbird, got heavier and started to show on the ground about DFW. Bu the time we got to Rhome the ground was covered and some snow was blowing. In Decatur right now we have about a half inch and it is getting colder. The roads were mostly wet, with some slush between Southlake and Rhome. In Decatur they are getting snow covered.

Hoping not to have to go to work tomorrow!

Northwest Ohio: mid 20's expecting 5-8 inches by Wednesday evening with strong wind gusts!

Update; 35-40 mph winds, blowing, drifting, knew I should have left for Florida yesterday!

The day started with a thunder storm spitting out rain, hail and little snow all the time to rain all day to light snow tonight as we drove over to Cedar Hills to watch Skyfall again. The overpassed are freezing over and the wind has picked up to 35kts and its 24 deg's F on the back porch right now headed to 19. More at 10pm...

We hope this finds you all well this morning, as we are fine here at Panama City Beach FL. We had rain & high winds last night with thunder, & lightning. The wind blowing through the railing on the balcony was creating an almost screaming sound. The beach is blown smooth as a babies behind, & I intend on putting my footprints on it soon. 8) Yall take care!
Robbie

OK, I'll just mention that the Olympic Mountains West of Seattle has 200+% of normal snow pack and it's still early in our Winter snow season (that equals 20+ feet of powder in the parking lot @ Hurricane Ridge) and all the ski areas are at or above 160% of normal snow pack so no worries about watering the grass this Summer
