Are any WIXers planning on attending the Dec. 7 ceremony at the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg, Tx. next week? I will be there representing the PBY men. My shirt will attest to same but I think I may also wear the WIX name badge that Nathan made me for TOM last year. Helen MacDonald of the museum staff told me that Connie Edward is expected to participate in the flyover in his PBY.

Floats Up!

You know, this is the first year I think I haven't known what was going on up there. I'll have to check my schedule and see if I should take an L-bird up, or at least do a training flight to Fredericksburg. That might even be worth a day off...

Darn, that is only about 500 miles from the house. I could make it and still be back to work the next day.

Not at this moment, Steve but I'm going to be speaking with museum staffer Helen MacDonald this a.m. so I can hopefully find out what else will be in the flyover today.
