Good stuff, Scott - note the RC tail code on the B-17 along with the last-three-of-the-serial buzz number; a former Rapid City training ship like the F models at Chino in The Best Years of Our Lives?

FHC has restored both the tail position of 41-9210 and the ball turret and they are on display @ KPAE. The tail position has been buffed to show car levels and shines like chrome the ball lacks only the guns and associated hardware. Things @ FHC/Vulcan move @ their own, unfathomable to humans pace.

I remember watching Daisy Jean go up on the structure. Thought it would be there forever.... Then Harry Doan, then Cavanaugh, shame they don't fly it anymore. Well, at least its inside.
