Borrowing your thread for my question if you permit, Lightning.
Does anybody know / have info where i can purchase issues in Germany? Tried to subscribe via amazon but got the response: will not be shipped to your address. Haven´t seen any of them at newspaper / bookstores around, not even where they sell several kinds of international magazines.

Thanks
Michael

I'm not sure how long it takes, but this seems like a long time. I recently dropped my Air Classics subscription, but still have WARBIRDS International and MUSTANGS. My MUSTANGS mag just came last week.

many aviation magazines are being bombarded with fake / bogus subscription offers to their subscribers, & not just aviation oriented publications. i subscribe to 7 aviation magazines & most have published warnings / disclaimers not to be tempted or duped into ponying up more money for subscription renewals when they are not yet expired. challenge publications has made a concerted effort to warn subscribers of this scam. to the chap in germany i have many back issues to sell or you can email them for back issues going back a few years.

@Tom: I am mainly interested in the new, current Air Classics issue (and the previous one, with the Me 109 on cover, small pic of unpainted Fw 190), featuring FHC´s Fw !90 A-5. But if someone is willing to send one or both of them (new or read, I do not mind) to me, I will of course pay for the issue and p+p to Germany in advance if you do know the post charge in advance......

Michael,

I have the two Air Classics issues that you seek, plus Warbirds International covering the Fw 190. PM me your address and I will send them to you for free, including the postage.

I hope you didn't subscribe over the phone after receiving an unsolicited cold call. These are scams and all of the aviation/history magazines I subscribe to have published ads denying that they use telephone solicitation and are advising readers to subscribe or renew using materials found in the magazines or by using official websites, etc. I would call the subscription offices at Challenge on Monday; they are pretty helpful over there.
