I recently shot Jerry Yagens Flugwerk FW190 buildt by Meiermotors germany.
As a german I feel proud taking part in making history while shooting the butcher bird
in flight over southern germany.

That's a remarkable photo, by far the best I've yet seen of this bird. Blurring the prop takes away the visually distracting fourth blade, and it's easy to see this scene as taken in 1943 instead of 2011. Absolutely spectacular work, Uwe!

this one does have a 3 blade wooden prop. I had a hard time in the air as it was bumpy as hell.
This shot is virtually the only one where the prop is actually not frozen.

Great shots! I can't wait to see this aircraft in the US soon (I hope)

If you ever come back iinto the US to do some work please let us know, We crossed paths at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation a few years back but I did not know you were on WIX at the time.

They have a flying 190 here at Chino.I know its far away,but closer to you than Germany.come have a looksie.it'll probably fly at the POF airshow May 14,15
actually it might not be closer.but no passport needed Aufedersein.

Lovely pictures, thank you for sharing with us Uwe! There was talk of this aircraft appearing at the Flying Legends show before it departs to the States, is this still a possibility??

To clear up the confusion about props, this aircraft was flown for most of last year with a four-blade unit. A three-blader was fitted over the winter.
