They have Mirage F-1's multi role, Mig 23's (ground attack), Sukoi 22/24's, Mil 14 and Hind 24's and Galebs, and other light attack trainers plus a number of other choppers and transport types

They are listed as 'on inventory' so whether or not any AARDVARKSKIS are flying or not for me to say.

A BBC report earlier today reported Sukhoi fighter bombers were making certain runs...and the pilots didn't seem to be concerned about 'being accurate' against the rebels...more than likely Su-22 Fitter?

A few weeks back I saw footage of one of the air bases that had been abandoned by Libyan forces. There was a line up of what looked to be flight ready Mig-23's... I just thought buy it would be nice to see those on the warbird circuit.

All kidding aside I wish the people of Libya the best of luck in their struggle with the Col.

I'd call that a definitive confirmed kill for the tank! Not to make too much light of a clearly serious subject, but you just KNOW that tank driver had a grin on his face as he ran that thing over. :D

Nothing says "air superiority" like a tank on the runway.

I understand they also have one B-24, although it needs work. But I'm sure that when they fix it Lady, It'll Be Good.
