2010 seemed to have many more jets on the airshow circuit than past years.
Some amazing classics and looks like more on the way in 2011.

Really like the boom boom round round better but an impressive showing by the J-E-T-S this year.

I AGREE - 2010 was a Great year for Classic Vintage Jet Warbirds, which are among my FAVORITE warbirds. Thanks for sharing the photos. I love Snort's Skyblazers Sabre and Dean Cutshall's rare and beautiful F-100F Super Sabre which I was also privileged to see for the first time this past August at Thunder Over Michigan.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010 had the best assortment of jet warbirds I have ever seen at an air show, including at least 5 T-33's, 3 Sabres, 2 A-4 Skyhawks, 2 F-4 Phantoms, 2 MiG-21's and the FJ-4B Fury, among others.

Looking forward to seeing some more great vintage jets in 2011!

:D

You would think if someone was smart enough to fly a Paris Jet, they would know which part of a hat points forward! (the visor fellows!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Good observation! They turned them around, as the brim hits the canopy during maneuvering - especially looking over the shoulder in loops.

Great pics, problem is that BB Black Bird is an AT-38, not an F-5 (though I'm sure it'd want to be one. :) ).

Interesting to see Beale though at Sun'N'Fun unless they had a U-2 there as well? Either way, you probably got to rub elbows with a U-2 driver since their AT-38's are the "currency aircraft" for them.

What shows externally that it is an AT-38 rather than a plain ole T-38?
(Doesn't even look like a T-38C).
Thx,
VL

Thanks, I take a "do over" on the F-5.

Fly over at Stuart Air Show.

A fantastic set of pictures. But, as always there is a question!

Nice pictures Bill,

And for those that made it west for the Reno Air Races, there were 16 jets racing, led by Steve Hinton in a T-33 paceplane. Also an TA-4J, F-86 and F-100 on display in the NAHI display.

You're both wrong, the BB jets are Beale AFB T-38A's. :)
