I'm not sure if this thread belongs here so forgive me if it's in the wrong spot.

I was given a B-32 Dominator Load Adjuster case as a gift and I was wondering if it was possible to track down the A/C it was supposed to be in. The placard on the front side is blank so I'm fairly certain it was never put into a specific ship but there is a serial number on the leather flap that seals the case. That number is 147206. Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

All B-32s were a 1942 serial number, so yours would be 42-147206, but the 1942 serials don't go that high

42-108585/42-108594 is the highest B-32 serials.

Most load adjusters were of the same length, but of course the load adjuster varies from model and series of airplane.

For example the C130A C130E and the C130H all used the same case but of course the actual adjusters were different.

I suspect what you are looking at is the part number for the case.

Regards

Col
