Went to pick up my daughter from Girl Scout camp the other day and found this
Image

Its the new Van Zandt county veterans memorial in Canton Texas.

Its still being worked on and I couldn't find any information on the Huey, but it looks like it will be nice when completed.

The artwork shows an AH-1, F-16 and M-4 being displayed when completed. I guess the Huey is taking the place of the Cobra and there is a truck where the artwork shows the M-4. I read somewhere that they acquired an F-4 instead of the F-16. The sticks for the aircraft are there but still empty.

Some information

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
