Hi,
I'm chasing some details/photos about a P40 from the 5th A/F. I think the number is 42-104954? or 945?

thanks in advance

Not much to go on, *54 was written off due to an accident in Dec 1943, *45 was Written off in an Accident in May 44.

If you have anything additional you can add (markings info on Pilots etc) I may be able to narrow things down further, although suggest that the loss in Dec may have been a 49FG bird (maybe as 49FG also lost aircraft in a scrap with Ki-61 on this date) or a 35FS aircraft (although the serial seems more in keeping with 49FG aircraft) and the loss in May could be from a Number of Units (49FG or 71TRG)
