Haven't seen it posted yet here and I'm sure it couldn't stay a secret much longer being on Courtesy. You'll find it under the projects area.

Let me start by saying this has to be one heck of a project to obtain and, well it would sure be nice to bring another one back to "Corsair Country". Especially if Ken McBurney would want to add another Corsair to the "Connecticut Corsair" squadron. This one came off the Goodyear production line 157th before our local FG-1D http://corsairrestoration.com/ came out of the factory. Of course I don't have $725,000 to spare but I sure wish someone in this neck of the woods would obtain her.

I would say that might be just a little over priced by say half a mill. The parts that go with it are not much to write home about.I guess we will see just how fast it sells or not.

If I had the cash I'd get the Brewster Corsair instead of this one in a heartbeat. They are both cool projects in their own right. I always wondered what happened to this one. Neat pictures of them using it to test the glass panels, that must have been a fun job at the glass factory.

:D

Just use your head. Open a post office box and then pick a fictional zip code, and then apply for stimulus funds (hint; mentioning you're a highly unionized, high minority area might not hurt). This could be a jobs-creator, man! I'll take $175,000 per year to work on restoring a Corsair.

A faster way to afford this might be to become and investment banker selling credit default swaps. This way if you lose money you can still afford the Corsair when you get your bailout.
A win win situation.
